All of us live in a community. In fact, many of us live in several overlapping communities. Three
that are important to me are the community of faith (which I have chosen to represent by a
congregational church), the retirement community of Concordia where I live (represented by the
villas on our street), and thirdly, the Township Community of Copley (represented by the circle
bandstand caught in a blizzard). These paintings represent three of the daily community
influences that affect my life and make it worthwhile.
