I am amateur painter who has never had any formal training. I rely on observation, intuition and
practice to produce my artwork. I have been painting for the last 20 years but have been legally
blind for the last 8 years. My preferred subject matter is nature oriented but I did portraiture prior
to vision loss. As my eyesight changed, I adapted to more broad, bold palette knife paintings and
watercolors with less definition. Many friends and family have been the joyful recipients of my
artwork. Thank you for allowing me to submit to your show.
