In this piece I used acrylics to capture an image of my high school cross country team running on
a path in the woods. Our team was a strong community and support system for each other, and
although it was sad to leave them, my college team has also been just as supportive and close.
This painting reminds me of how fortunate I am to be able to be a part of a community of
runners who are so encouraging and uplifting. I hope to others this painting will display how
strong, supportive, and fun the entire running community is no matter where you go.
